Mindalyn Galli

Owner/Lead Instructor

Hi! My name is Mindalyn. I am a mother and teacher of three children of my own. An educator at heart, I have been sharing my passion for the sciences, art, nature, literature and life with my children since they were born. Early on, I set up an environment in my home in which we were learning through our play, our conversations, and our outings. When they became of school age, it just seemed natural that I continue what I had already been doing by homeschooling them and it has been the right choice for our family. I started a local homeschool group and co-op in which I am still active in. Through both mediums, I have taught a variety of classes and activities from STEAM to cooking to author studies to nature walks.

Before starting a family, I worked in both the formal and informal education setting for 15+ years. I spent the first part of my career in a traditional classroom teaching science and math, as well as the other core areas. After several years in the public school classroom, I felt like I needed a change and moved to the museum setting. I worked for the Children’s Museum of Houston along with other museums, off and on, for the last eight years as an exhibit educator, project manager, and contract work for various projects.

Although I have a strong background for science and math, I also have a passion for and experience in art and I often blend the process used for science and art to create fun new projects. As an educator, I enjoy and feel very comfortable working with a wide variety of learning styles and skill levels.
