Programs and Studios

THINKERSTUDIO's In-person studios have returned! Each studio meets two-three times per month and can be purchased on a monthly basis or per semester, but priority goes to returning students each month. Spaces will be limited to 8-12 kids per class. Fall studios begin the week of September 4-9, but last day to register for September studios is Friday, September 1. Discount of 10% when you register for 2 or more studios/kids.

Preschoolers:

PRESCHOOL CREATIVE STUDIO

Recommended for ages 4-6 years

Wednesdays from 9:30-12:00

$90 for 3 studios per month

(maximum of 8 kids per studio)

Preschool Creative Studio is designed to provide a safe space where children can explore, manipulate and create freely. Through experiences and explorations using principles of S.T.E.A.M., process art and the natural world, children will have complete autonomy over their decisions in materials, tools, and techniques while working on their creations. Supplies are included in the studio cost.

School-aged:

HOMESCHOOL CREATIVE PROGRAM

Recommended for ages 6-12 years

Thursdays from 10:00-3:00 (full day)

$180 for 3 days per month

Thursdays from 12:30-3:00 (half day)

$90 for 3 days per month

Creative Writing Studio

Recommended for ages 6-13 years

Tuesdays from 10:00-11:45

$45 for 3 days per month

Creative Writing Studio incorporates literature, writing, art, and games in hands-on activities that are age appropriate and engaging. We will study different authors and/or illustrators and their writing styles and illustration techniques to help us in our story telling and writing. We will participate in a variety of activities such as games and art activities that will help get students excited about reading and writing.

Science Studio

Recommended for ages 6-13 years

Tuesdays from 12:30-3:30

$90 for 3 days per month

Science Studio focuses on natural/life science, physical science, and chemistry concepts. Students will explore scientific concepts in age appropriate labs and hands-on activities. Each month students will be given a specific concept to explore such as "life cycles" and will engage in a number of activities throughout the month to help them understand and better define what "life cycles" means to them as scientists. Each class is hands-on and students will complete at least one STEAM project based on that concept per month as well as gardening and ecology projects.

Textiles and Fiber Arts Studio

Recommended for ages 10+ years

Wednesdays from 3:30-5:30

$60 for 3 days per month

Textiles and Fiber Arts Studio invites children and adults to explore and enjoy the process of creating with fabrics, thread, yarn, lace, and so much more. In this studio, you will learn a variety of ways to use textiles and fibers to create works of art through sewing, weaving, embroidery, crochet, and felting.

Open Studios

OPEN STUDIO SATURDAYS

Recommended for ages 4+ years

Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm

$25 per studio (2 studios offered per month)

Open Studio invites children and families to freely explore and enjoy the process of creation. Children will have complete autonomy over their decisions in materials, tools, and techniques while working on their creations. Support and feedback with their creations will be provided when needed and/or requested. Supplies are included in the studio cost.

THINKERSTUDIO's Refund Policy:

Parents/Guardians who notify ThinkerStudio at least 5 days before a class begins that they are unable to attend the studio are eligible for a 50% refund. NO REFUNDS are given for cancellation less than 5 days before class begins.

Refunds and/or credits for monthly tuition are NOT issued under the following circumstances:

- Your child is absent for expected or unexpected reasons.
- Your child is required to sit out of the program to quarantine.
- In the event of an unexpected school closure due to weather, an emergency or natural disaster, including temporary closures due to COVID-19, tuition for that month will not be refunded or discounted.
