ThinkerStudio's Preschool Creative Studio is designed to enrich your child(ren)'s experiences and learning with child-centered activities that are rooted in S.T.E.A.M., process art, critical thinking and play-based learning.  This studio invites children to freely explore and enjoy the process of creation.

After-school Creative Studio at a glance:

 

• Studio fee is $75/month for three studios

• Studio is held on Thursdays from 4:00-6:00pm.

• Designed for ages 6-12 years.

• Limited to 8 students.

• Each student should bring a labeled bottle of water and a snack.

• The program utilizes both inside and outside areas of ThinkerStudio so please apply sunscreen if needed.

Studio Components:

STEAM incorporates science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities and experiences. Each week will introduce students to various concepts such as "light" or "motion" that allow students to explore, investigate and create using principles of STEAM. 

Process Art allows students to explore and create using a variety of artistic styles, techniques, and mediums.  Activities will be invitations, student-led and some instructor-led. These experiences and activities give students a chance to learn who they are as artists while exploring new mediums and techniques.

Play-Based Learning, with play as the basis of experimental learning, incorporates a multitude of sensory and art-based activities to help develop your little one’s fine motor skills and confidence.
