Open Studio
Saturdays

ThinkerStudio's Open Studio invites children and families to freely explore and enjoy the process of creation. Children will have complete autonomy over their decisions in materials, tools, and techniques while working on their creations. Support and feedback with their creations will be provided when needed and/or requested.  Supplies are included in the studio cost.

Open Studio Saturdays at a glance:
 
  • Studio fee is $25/person and is offered two times per month.
  • Studio is held on Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm.
  • Designed for ages 4+ years.
  • Limited to 12 kids (not including family members).
  • Students can be both drop off and/or families are welcome to stay and participate.
  • The program utilizes both inside and outside areas of ThinkerStudio so please apply sunscreen if needed.

 What are some materials and tools you can work with in Open Studio?
- Paper: modge podge/paper-mache, origami, collage
- Paints and pastels: watercolor, tempera, acrylic, inks
- Clay: Polymer and air-dry
- Fabrics and fibers: sewing, weaving, embroidery
- Wood: various saws and wood cutting tools
- Stop motion animation
-Electronics, circuitry, programming
- Recyclables and repurposing materials

THINKERSTUDIO's Refund Policy:

Parents/Guardians who notify ThinkerStudio at least 5 days before a class begins that they are unable to attend the studio are eligible for a 50% refund. NO REFUNDS are given for cancellation less than 5 days before class begins.

Credits for monthly tuition are issued under the following circumstances:
- Your child is absent due to illness.
- Your child is required to sit out of the program due to quarantine.
- In the event of an unexpected school closure due to weather, an emergency or natural disaster, including temporary closures due to COVID-19, tuition for that month will not be refunded or discounted.
